How to start getting creative with headwear

Creative – ‘Relating to or involving the use of imagination or original ideas to create something’
With so many hats all being the same with a different logo, it can be hard to stand out! This, of course, is not impossible though, and we believe not all hats are created equally. There are countless ways to get creative with headwear. From choosing the fabric, the style, colour(s) and branding techniques, all of which will give your headwear that ‘wow factor’.
You have many materials to choose from when it comes to hats. Cotton, polyester and acrylic are the core fabrics to use, but that doesn’t mean you’re limited to them. So why not change them around and design your hats with something a little more creative?
Instead of acrylic, you could upgrade to a more plush fabric such as wool or towelling. Variations of cotton such as denim, oiled and chino cotton can all be great alternatives to the norm. Polyester is another great fabric to get creative with, as it comes in so many different guises, everything from sports mesh, which is perfect for hot weather, right through to polar fleece at the other end of the spectrum.
Take a look at our recent blog –
The classic baseball cap or beanie may be all you’re looking for (which is completely fine) but if you and your customers are searching for something different, then there are plenty of options to choose from. Over and above the standard baseball cap shape, you might want to choose trucker cap or go bold and urban with a snapback. Add to the mix a flat cap, military cap or even a bucket hat, you can see that the possibilities are endless.

This is also true for the winter headwear ranges.
