ANOTHER GREAT BRANDING TECHNIQUE ADDED TO OUR ARSENAL – APPLIQUÉ
Published - 21st April, 2017
“APPLIQUÉ” – “noun” – a decorative design made of one material sewn over another.
In the past 3 years we have gone from ZERO in house production to an impressive 68 heads of embroidery, a single head sampler and the latest DTG (Direct to Garment) Rhinestone application machine.
With all this in place we are in a position to test out new and exciting techniques that up until recently could only be produced on fully bespoke headwear options direct from China.
Our embroidery team is working in collaboration with Madeira to create something quite extraordinary.
Introducing our LATEST INNOVATION – Appliqué Embroidery.
Using the latest fabrics from Madeira which have been designed specifically for embroidered appliqué work. The range consists of 3 very different materials which are available in a variety of colours.
A smooth glitter infused appliqué.
Glitter Lux is a synthetic appliqué, infused with glitter leaving a smooth finish to the final product.
This is ideal for large infill type logos or designs where you want to add a little extra “sparkle” to the finished design.
Available in 3 colour options with the ability to embroider directly on to the fabric.
PU Leather effect appliqué.
Pelltex is a synthetic PU leather effect fabric, with a classic leather grain running throughout.
A perfect option for those looking for a more antique, rugged look to large infill designs/logos.
Available in a classic brown leather effect and also metallic silver and gold. The nature of the material means there is a clean finish to the design after embroidery has been applied.
Soft touch velvet finish appliqué.
Vellutex is the classic flock material, with an extremely soft touch finish.
Available in a wide range of colours, this is a perfect option for big bold designs where colour is everything. Easy tear technology allows for detailed embroidery over the material, leaving a clean, crisp finish.
